got a nasty scrape on my top tube yesterday (transit back from L2B) ...very annoyed - it even had a load of bubble wrap round it!
so - how do i touch up the paint? its gone straight through the primer..its not even a line, its a patch! black gloss paint needed..or just get a sticker over it?
or where and how much does a whole paint job cost for the frame?

Tricky - but my first stop would be an auto paint shop, one of those that specialise in dents and paint chips.
If it's gloss black then it shouldn't be too difficult or expensive to repair (certainly a lot more reasonable than a re-spray). I would strongly advise though that you don't attempt it yourself - unless you've already a lot of practice with auto paint you'll bork it up and make it worse rather than better.FCN 5 belt driven fixie for city bits

Send Boardman an e-mail and ask what paint they use, there should be a pantone number or BS number for the colour. It usually comes from a vehicle manufacture range that can be bought at Halfords - e.g. I think that Specialized use a Mercedes red.0 -
isnt it generally - build up the paint layers until the part that you are spraying is proud then use a cutting compound the take the raised bit down aswell as the surrounding area, then lacquer over?
