Posting a Fork

This feels like a stupid question but anyway -
Any particular process to shipping a fork other than removing headset / brake and removing all air from the fork?
Second question would be, what does a general fork service entail? It's going back to SRAM (would assume Fisher in that case) and they're servicing it while warrantying my Mission Control cartridge, which decided to leak oil through all of the dials.
Thank you.

No need to remove the air, just remove the crown-race(in-case they replace the fork under warranty)Just bubble-wrap it and box it up.Your LBS should have a fork box but if not a large box and stanley-knife'll do 8)0
