Sram Twist grip Removal

My nipper has broken his brake lever and I have to remove the Sram twist grip gear selector to replace the lever, however it has me flummoxed, I can't see any way of removing it, in order to slide the gear levers on and off!
Anyone got any ideas?
(I have tried from the other side, but the lever wont slide across the central bulge)

there is an allen bolt to undo. normally on the underside.
you dont say which so here is one.
