About 2.5 years since i got rid of my car for work and errands etc. Ride an Evans Cannondale Rohloff day in day out. Also built (myself) a SuperSix and just finished a Ridley, both all out road bikes, the Ridley being for work on dryish days since I enjoy the supersix so much (and the rohloff being heavyish).
Been thinking about a Single Speed Cycloscross style single speed for a while. The lighter weight meaning that the odd rising hill etc can be powered up instead of spinning your way up.
Now I'm looking at Singular's Kite. Some project bike they've got going. It looks really good. although i'd need some P clips to add mudguards, but it looks a good (if slightly premium) move up from my idea of getting either a Day One, Charge or Surly CrossCheck.
Not really asking a question but just saying where i'm at. Still enjoying my commuting. Gone from Large bib 3/4s to Mediums )))
