Anyone know where I can find natural sidewall tyres 700 x 23. I have looked but can't seem to find the right size. I was sure Vittoria did them, any help is much appreciated.

I bought a pair of these (Michelin Dynamic) for a bike I did up for a mate. They seemed pretty bargainacious at a tenner a tyre. Not tested them in all weather etc though.

Cheers Rolf, they certainly are 'bargainacious'. Look on the heavy side though?0

280 grams. http://www.biketiresdirect.com/product/ ... namic-tire
I think that isn't too bad.Pseudonym wrote:
True - but I'd wince at those prices for my Look and most bikes that people put gumwalls are vintage and not worth so much in pure cash terms. Still, 23mm gumwalls are available at a wide variety of prices to suit all pockets!Faster than a tent.......0 -

Your right Rolf that it is not too bad, 280g, especially for that price.0

Really? Have a look at the amount of yellow sidewalls in the peleton - LOADS!!! As far as I'm aware Lampre are still using Vittoria Open Corsa Evo SC and they look the damage on the Fulcrums.0 -

Are they true gumwalls or coloured? I'd noticed something like but I just assumed they were white. Maybe I should see how the Look looks with natural look sidewalls......
Mind, I'd still say that gumwalls are more mainstream on vintage! Essential infact. I've not forgiven my mate for inflicting Marathons on the Carlton Corsair I'm doing up for him. I mean, the bike itself is brown and beige and he gives me tyres with silver reflective sidewalls. I'll show him though - I've put brown bar tape on itFaster than a tent.......0 -
Look at Cunego's bike in this pic taken today

They deffo look like Evo SC's.
Looking at todays stage I think Caruso had them on his Cannondale too.
They're going on my Gigantex 50mm when I get them0 -

The cracking new Giro intro video on Vittoria's site is a sea of gumwalls.

But then I'd have to get a new bike!
Not sure those go with the dayglo yellow on the Wilier. They look wrong to me!
As for me - maybe I'll wait to see if Schwalbe decide to do Ultremos in gumwall. It could work.......Faster than a tent.......0 -
They look great on the all black Lampre bikes though.
Here's a link to that Vittoria video btw
