HI, sorry if this question has been repeated 100 times before, I am looking to by my 3 year a Specalized hotrock for his 3rd birthday, it is obviously his first bike, the issue is with sizing I don't want to take him to a shop to be sized for the bike as it is a birthday present, he is of average size for a 3 year old what would be better a 12 or 14 inch?
TIA
TIA

Yes i would think so
According to my wife my 3 year old has little legs and a bigger body.
You could measure his inside leg and check it against the bike.0 -
3yo? The 12". But, the Hotwalk.
Take a look here, if you haven't already.

First bike? I'd go for a balance bike. You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -
If cash is an issue, just get a bike that he can touch the ground on with the saddle at its lowest point and take the pedals off. When he can balance, put the pedals back on.0
