Well in all fairness they were going to have to do something like this, at least they are putting "most of the lanes" in the middle of the roads, were they putting them on the sides then cyclists would be moaning that they were being forced into the centre on the road. LOCOG are never going to win with something like this but they seem to have taken the lesser of two evils here

Or people just realise this is not the end of the world, and most likely will not have a large negative effect on their life, and they live with it. Complaining about everything gets no where.
