For those of you who need to put a face on me or need a target for your dart board you can find me on Facebook. I think I've finally joined the 21st. century.
Still having trouble posting pic's on the forum but maybe this is a step in the right direction.

Great idea. As luck would have it I'm going to have lunch at my favorite Mexican joint.
You'll have to settle for a margarita, but I'll drink one or two for ya.

River patrol boats. A little smaller than PT boats. Crew of 4.

Is that where you met Lance, wasn't he on the forward 50's?

And ironically, Clean, Mr Clean was there too wasn't he?

Seriously, the man did some military service on a PT boat. Try not to belittle it with your nonsense. Just because he likes Lance and you don't, it doesn't automatically make you a better person. Try and give him some basic civil respect.

I've just been singing along to 'Margaritaville' (and dancing round the kitchen). :D

Do you really think he likes lance? I'm pretty certain he just enjoys playing devil's advocate from time to time.

Yes I do(like playing devils advocate). Like Lance? I'm not one way or another about him.
If I knew him we might be beer drinking buddies(so to speak) or mortal enemies. Hell, I don't know. Opinions, sure but to be honest I've often found my opinions of people that I don't know well are sometimes way off the mark.

I've only just seen this, I clearly peed off Rich, but then it was early in the AM..... I'm not sure that the military deserve or want any special consideration, and I doubt very much that Denis gives a rat's ar*e what I think, he's always struck me as a rather robust personality on these forums. It was just a throw away remark regarding Apocalypse Now. It struck a chord with me that someone thought Denis had been on a PT boat, and that made an immediate association to me of Lance and Mr Clean, I saw some irony in the names, but no big deal, just typing out loud a random thought.

Yeah, if you didn't see the movie you might not have caught the Lance reference. I always get a kick out of Robert Duval's character yelling something to the effect of "safe, I'll surf this damn beach and show you it's safe".

as the actress said to the bishop.
The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.
