insurance?

Im looking to protect my new marin just incase some theving scrot gets hold of it, does anyone on here have experience with these guys?

JLT are huge brokers and above board.
Other than that I don't bother to insure bikes, the decent ones are in the house or being used, I have a ratbike for other times.

I'm having a row with JLT.

They gave me a premium renewal with a 5% discount for loyalty. I complained that it was 30% ore than the online quote from their site. I emailed them nd they said they'd look into it nd I reminded them 3 more times over a month but was ignored. Threatened them with FSA and the OFT - immediate response - new lwer price too.

The point being that they will try and rip you on renewal as they did to me and ther excuse was just feeble.

Mainly that's due to inefficiency, not ripping off. Lots of companies offer better terms to new customers, not just insurers.
Bear in mind they are a huge company and you are just an insignificant insect. It's transactional business and they need numbers to make a profit. You have already blown the bit they would have made. Sad but true.
