Nope didn't fall off or anything.

Got my new wheels today so was changing tyres. Taking the tyre off my old wheel, my hand slipped and I punched myself in the jaw and bust my lip

Am unsure if the OP wants some lip from others, however, as a practical tip the use of tyre levers would give the right hook action and hopefully prevent unnecessary injury.

Yes I did use tyre levers to get the first part of the tyre off and then I was pulling up and my hand slipped and boom straight in the jaw.
