Not for me mind, its for Mrs Tomo as the one she has had since uni (in th late 80's) is very battered but she prefers that style over modern bikes as much comfier when you're vertically challenged.

I rode it from near city airport to Euston last night, which was a bit of a hoot as 5'11" on a small framed 24" wheel bike looks slightly comical. I did scalp a few people on far more exotic wheels though which was fun and managed to keep on the back of a decent mini pelaton that was slicing through holborn and surrounds.

It needs a new gear cable and probably brake blocks but that apart she's in great nick for a 30/40 year old bike.

I'm not planning to turn it into a fixie and spray it blue :D

    Gear cable has arrived, so time permitting it will be running on full 3 speed this weekend.
