Cube Attention Fork Upgrade - A Quick Question

Hi Guys
I'm just about to shell out for some new forks for my Cube Attention replacing the Suntour XCM and have decided on the 2010 Rock Shox Reba Team that I can get in a current sale. There has been a lot of fork questions on the forum recently so I'm fairly happy that these are good choice in my price bracket
Before I part with my hard earned and as I'm still a bit of a newbie  I just wanted to check that there is nothing else I need to be aware of before I buy them. I did e-mail Cube to double check there was no issue in changing the forks to another 100mm set but they have not got back to me. I discussed it also with a guy at the shop and he said as long as my steering is the right size (1 1/8 I think) and that I may need to use the crown race from my Suntours they should be fine. I am aware that they need to be cut down, which I may do myself if I'm feeling confident or depending on how soon they can do it, ask my LBS.
Have any Cube Acid or Attention owners swapped to similar forks and was everything fine?
Cheers

make sure the steerer is the right diameter and long enough or too long.
and dont forget to take the crown race off the old fork."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

i had reba teams fitted to my cube acid about 4 months ago after using the stock dart 3's for a while and find that the reba team are much better and worth the cash imo, a good upgrade0

Not long after getting my Ltd Pro, back in 2008, I emailed Cube asking the question about going from 80 to 100mm forks and they told me it wouldn't be a problem, though I seem to have lost the email confirming this. I would assume your bike has a similar geometry so the same would apply. I never did upgrade mine, money dried up!0

Really? There service has gone downhill since then as I emailed them 2 weeks ago asking roughly the same question, i.e. whats the max travel the frame can take.
Got a response of - Dont ask us, ask your LBS stockist. Made me laugh that they cant/wont answer a simple question about their own bikes.0 -
Cheers for the responses guys.
Briggo, my e-mail was along the same lines as yours. Asking for confirmation of fitting types of 100m forks and could the frame take 120mm? As I got no reply and have found a good deal on a 100mm travel fork I thought I would go with that.
Did you LBS stockist give you any advice and what was the frame?0
