Just finished this build at the weekend.
Always loved this frame, so when one came up I grabbed it, and spent a bit of time and money getting the right components for it...
SPEC:
2009 Spesh Sworks FSR Carbon Frame.
Fox F32 RLC Fork.
Spesh prowess Carbon Low Rise bar.
Easton Haven Stem.
XTR2011 Drivetrain (3x10) including cassette, shifters, mechs, chain.
Hope Tech M4 Hint Of green Fr&Rr brakes & Hope Floating Rotors.
Mavic CrossMax ST wheels with Nobbys on.
Welgo MG1 Ti pedals.
Now built...
Had a real blast on it at weekend - just trying to decide whether to stick with the layback post or not presently. Other that that - I am well happy with it!

Nice looking bike though. Bet it's bIoody light too.
Spec list?0 -
CWNT - ahhh I liked the red pedals on it!
Have not had it weighed yet, so am interested to see what it comes in at! It handles very well, and feels light though.
Spec at top0 -
sorry, don't know how I missed the spec there. Too eager to get to the pics I reckon :P
I'd go for black pedals with red pins. The Superstar Ultra Mag ones. They would look mega on that bike!
Also, I'm MASSIVELY jealous of those Hope Team brakes (with the green bits). I'd love a set of those for the Edison.
Edit: Actually, I'm not sure they are the team ones, very strange. I still want them though.0 -
CNWT - cheers for kind comments - re the brakes - they called them special edition I believe? Go really well with the red bits too.
Re the pedals - soon as I saw the wellgo mg1's and the weight of them that was me sold - I know I should have at least looked at other alternatives! Gonna look at those ones you have just mentioned now!0 -
The MG1s are very popular on here, they're very light, very strong, and great value.
Besides, people can only see the pedals when you're off the bike, and if you like the way they look, that's all that matters really.0 -
