We I have taken plung and gone for a nice shiny new Rockshox Reverb.
Absolutly great piece of kit but the only down side it the trusty crud catcher is unable to attach onto the post and clear the rear 120mm travel (Marin Mount Vision)
Does any know a good rear mud guard which connects on to allow a FS bike to go through its travel and fits below the seat post (Or on the seat post very close to the frame)
I have been in a few shops but most seem to attach quite high on the post as per my crud catcher.
Guess its the same issue with all adjustable posts ????
Advice welcome

Surely it depends how low you have your dropper in the seat tube and how much of the non-telescopic part is showing?
My Crudcatcher fits perfectly fine on the Edison with the Gravity Dropper, with tonnes of room left over.
For example, in the photo challenge picture below, I have actually not got the mudguard bit fitted (it was a dry day) but you can see the CC mounting is still attached to the post.
Sorry if I'm being a spanner.0 -
Ahhh...
Your bracket for your CC is quite a lot shorter than the model I have.
My CC bolts quite a way up the seat post since it is angled quite sharp toward the rear wheel and the bracket must be 10-15 cm long.Marin East Peak0 -

So that's why it was so hard getting up that hill.0 -
The newer style CC has a shorter connecting arm and I have one fitted to my stumpy fsr and Joplin seatpost. I have about 2" of the non telescopic bit sticking out of the top tube with the CC attached there. Had no clearance problems at all, even doing most red routes and drops etc0
