Hi guys just wondering if anyone knows what there peak flow is?
Mine on average is about 650

    Normally somewhere just below 800. If my asthma is playing up it falls to around 550 and I get some meds ;-)

    Yes, on account of being asthmatic and having to check it reasonably regularly.

    As with GHill it's a f**k-sight better when I'm managing my inhalers properly.

    Have to do this every year on work medical, about 850 usually, no idea what it means though :lol:

    It's the maximum volume of air you can exhale in litres / min.

    Last time I used a peak flow meter it went to the stop. The doc just looked at me :)

    Peak flows depend on your size and age. I think above 650/700 is usually pretty good. If you are under 500 then you are probably under medicated. Do not take this as fact, just from a long term astmatic. Kids will be likely to preform worse.
