hi all
i bought a new cube reaction a couple of weeks back from winstanleys and the rear brake is awful. really spongy and hardly working at all in comparision with the front.
i didnt really notice at the time, but now ive been out a couple of times, its really annoying.
what are my chance of them to sort it if i take it back? should they have too?
if not, can i sort my self easily enough. ie with out having to bleed the system
note, i have never tinkered with hydraulic disc brakes before!
cheers

not sure, i will check that tonight. cheers
ive just download the manual, and noticed this:
Braking feeling adjustment
FCS (Feeling Control System) adjustment allows the change
of the braking point in the braking device.
Turn the ring nut 64 in the direction A for an abrupt and
immediate braking.
Turn the ring nut 64 in the direction B for a soft and progressive
braking.
so i'll check that too.0 -
if you have FCS fitted0

Cube's come from the factory with the brakes set up for the continent which is the opposite from the UK
So you have to swap the hoses over
Which could lead to air in the system if you're not careful
If it's been like it from the start, this could be a probable cause, if it's not the FCS (if you have it) or any other problem0 -

Incorrect. New formulas are designed so you can swap the levers over without touching the hoses.0
