Have been using my Combo of Pedal and Shoes on my road bike for 4000 miles/1 year now but all of a sudden I have been developing some mild pain on underneath/outside of my feet in the last few weeks.

Is this a sign to get new shoes or innersoles ? As prior to the last few weeks they have been ultra comfortable and have even with 100 mile rides not even the slight sign of sore feet yet i'm now getting sore feet after just 5-10 miles.

Similar here. I was having pain behind my right knee when riding my focus cayo after about 20 minutes of riding. Tried adjusting everything and decided it must be shoes/pedal. Put my MTB pedals on (I know, it's not right is it ?) and went for a 50 miler. Woke up with a sore right foot next day. Transferred the pedals back to my commuter (also a road bike) and did 40 miles no problem.

My only theory is I didn't have my shoe laced tight enough which caused friction. Could something have gone slack on your shoes ?
