He won Tour of Lux and has a few good finishes / top10's in TT's

    Tour of Luxembourg is a Europe Tour race, not a World Tour race.

    Why do some of the classics score less for a win than others (notably Amstel)? Is it just the 'monuments' that get 100 points for a win?

    I see from the latest rankings that GB are up to 7th spot.

    Also, I noticed that Vacansoleil have fewer points than Ben Swift.

    Is Dowsett likely to ride the Tour? Be good if he could pick up a ranking point in one of the TTs.

    He hasn't completed a 1-week stage race yet, so I think a grand tour is probably a bit much.
