What's the difference between Shimano 105 5600 and 5700?

    5700 is the newer groupset with all the cables routed under the bar tape.

    I have the older version; brake cables go under the bar tape but the gear outers exit the insides of the shifters and get in the way of the front light. Handy for drying washing on though

    Ah ok.

    Have ordered some 105 front brake calipers and on the look out for rear calipers and noticed the different no's.
