right, odd one this one

I was cleaning my bike and as i was inspecting and cleaning my forks, i found the rebound bolt in the bottom of the lower leg has snapped off, the rebound housing is still at the bottom of the leg and i can see some of the bolt, and when i bounce the fork it doesn't move, and the rebound isn't affected, i can change the setting with an allen key, but i was wondering can you get a spare bolt? preferably one which has the hole in the middle so i can get a new rebound knob aswell

sounds like it fell out. as it is a click fit and most people dont seem to push it home full.

use as id or get another. CRC TFtuned etc etc

it hasn't fallen off, as i can see some of the bolt through the hole in the bottom, it isn't the rebound shaft, you can actually physically see the bolt, where its been snapped off

Does anyone know the bolt size?

It is a 2.5mm allen key to adjust.

sorry i don't think im making myself clear, its the bolt you have to undo at the bottom of the fork on the rebound side to take the upper legs out of the lower legs. its not the rebound adjuster knob, its the bolt that the knob clicks onto.

So is it a M6, M8 or M10, be surprised if it was any bigger.

    hope im making sense

It's an M6 I beleive. But you need the specific one with the hole in it.

CRC are asking for 16 for it

well if i set my rebound the way i like it, why would i need the hole in it? thats only there so you can adjust the rebound isn't it?
