Birtley nr Newcastle upon Tyne to Lancaster then Wexham

My brother lives in Birtley, i'm thinking of getting a lift back up there with him from porthmadog, Any advice on best way to Lancaster overnight stop and then to Wrexham. First leg look approx 100 miles with car, but unsure of best way by bike any advice would be appreciated cheers T.C.

If you checkout the Walney to Wear ride -it goes very close - I did it when it first opened and it's a nice ride and the hills are't as severe as the C2C.
