i've got a 305 runners watch/gps and want to attach it to my handlebars. garmin sell a cradle which is probably expensive. i was speaking with someone a few months back and he told me'd attached using something or other but i cannot remember what. does anyone have any tips on what i can use? thanks.

I use one of these for my forerunner 405:

    Bike mount

Not cheap for what it is but doesnt exactly break the bank either. Should be ok for a 305 i'd have thought?
  • that is probably what i need but i'm saving for a road bike so even a tenner is something i begrudge shelling out. thanks.

Mine actually fits perfectly around a knog front light - the rubberised light is perfect.

Garmin QR kit isn't that much, and works very well.

Piece of pipe lagging would work the same however.

I got a pile of the handlebar mounts from Mountguys via Amazon for £8 each recently.
