I will be cycling to Aachen, Germany from Dunkerque in mid July and need to find somewhere good but cheap to stay over night along the way...
Has anyone cycled that direction? Can you reccommend any cheap acommodation along the way. Ideally i only will want one over night stop in the 200miles that is from Dunkerque to Aachen.
Any hints will be great thanks.
I cycled to Paris last summer on a last minute thing, but stayed in b&b's so i have done this type of thing before. I just want to do it on much more of a budget!
i have thought about just roughing it with a sleeping bag in a field which would be totally free...but any ideas will be very handy.
thanks!

More than enough hosts available inbetween France and Germany, where you can spend the night and have your breakfast for 19 euro. But if you need only one place to stay, buying a 10 euro 'Vrienden op de Fiets' membership card is not the most practical solution. ;-(
Although even 29 euro is still quite a modest price for one overnighting, not?60 bicycle trails along Belgian canals, rivers and former railway tracks : http://www.bikely.com/listpaths/by/fietslogies0 -
