Knackered forks?

I have a pair of Marzocchi Bomber 44 rlo air forks on my bike. I went to dalby last weekend and after have being at Lee Quarry last tuesday i had let some air out of the forks for a smoother ride. I put 100 si back in for dalby and they were fine!
2 days ago i went to a local wood and on the way back they had just gone almost completely flat!
I don't understand whats happened, there is a seal sticking outta the right hand stanchion but that is to stop dirt getting in so that wouldn't affect it as air goes into a separate cartridge. I got a shock pump yesterday and pumped em up and they seem ok now but not checked em this morning yet.
Any guesses?
Thanks.

They use a schraeder valve don't they?
It might be worth ensuring the seal on that is okay. You can get a valve core remover and replace the valve core with another (nick one out of a schraeder tube).
Obviously depressurise the forks before removing the valve core, you don't want it blown into orbit.
If that doesn't help there must be a more terminal cause like internal seals.0 -
I went and checked them about 20 mins ago and they're still as hard as when I pumped em up on Saturday, so I wonder what has happened.
Tho I think what u sed gilesjuk, is worth considering. Thanks0
