I ride in Dubai on a Friday morning and every now and again one of the locals (arab) turns out on one of these. Clever piece of kit when you have a close up look at it. However, as with some of the other locals, what ever is trendy that week is what they go out and buy and turn up on. One of the funniest was when about 5 or 6 of them all turned up in Liquigas kit complete with top end Cannondales.

As for the Martini bike - well, Martini is pretty unsophisticated and that bike is frankly unspeakably horrible

Black and gold - a bit trashy really - and it is all a bit overdone. John Player Special covered that theme enough in the decade where it belonged! I like Colnagos in principal but they tend often to have the nastiest colour schemes money can buy; they never seem to know when enough is enough. eg there are at least 5 cloverleafs on the handlebars alone. That isn't classy.
The Martini livery S Works looks OK but it would have been cooler either not to have pretended it was a Porsche, or if he had to, to have done it as a Martini Lancia. And the S-Works logo is ghastly!Faster than a tent.......0 -

If I was about to pay 14k for a bike, I would want it to have flair, and pizazz, and really make my jaw drop. That colnago is just way too plain. Just plain tube, no funky lines, nothing outstanding in design.
That s-works bike is truely lovely, same with the Delta 7 one. Truly lovely bits of kit.0 -
