I know that SS in the FAQ/Tech section says that you will lose some oil when deflating the -ve air chamber.
The small amount of oil that is lost when the -ve chamber is deflated is it critical? I had to reset the air on my Pike forks this am and lost a small amount of oil in the process through the -ve valve.

As long as masses of oil doesn't come out. If you were pressing the valve for a couple of seconds and the oil was oozing out, i'd suggest topping the oil up (quite a simple job, i think its on the website how to remove lowers). However if it was only a little bit i wouldn't worry. Next time just leave the bike upside down for a minute or so before adjusting air pressures in the -ve valve.Giant XTC SE 2006
