Any ideas how i stop this. I read that putting a business card in between the pad and rotor while pulling the lever works. The rotor is fine and it looks as though the piston is no evenly pushing the pads onto the disc
Ideas ???

try resetting that caliper so it no longer rubs."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Tried doing this today by loosening the calliper bolts, applying the brakes and then re tightening the bolts, STILL RUBS how annoying.
Although the rubbing is now intermittent suggesting bent rotor ????[/code]0 -
I had a similar problem moving my El Camino's between different bikes (especially after I accidentally squeezed a lever with the caliper off-bike, doh).
Try removing the caliper, take out the pads then check whether one piston is pushed further out from the caliper than the other. Both pistons should be the same distance out or flush with the caliper, but with El Camino pressing one piston back into the caliper will push the other out. If they're not centred, carefully and with a smooth implement (I used a slightly rounded knife handle which just fits between the pistons), press both pistons back so they're centred in the caliper.
Then refit the pads and caliper to the bike, centre as you did above (I found this also needed some tweaking and worked better when I centred by sight.Carbon 456 http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... t=12754782
