Yes i have been but its always been with someone giving me a lift. Now I'm wondering about close train stations. I see Tod is the closest or Walsden, but my god that hill is steep. Rode up that on the motorbike.

Just wondering if its Hilly from say Rochdale or Rose grove?

Rochdale might be a better bet, it is a drag up Rooley Moor road but at least it's not tarmac. Pretty much all downhill on the way back as well.
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result
  • As stumpy says its a drag of a ride up from Rochdale and I'm used to doing it on my road bike.

If your after a lift I'm in tyldesley and I'm intending to start going up there more often. Pm me if you want to arrange something.
