Hey there, im new to all this off road cycling lark and i do fancy the idea of tear arsing around the countryside getting muddy! im not new to cycling as i have a jump bike that i was given but hardly used and know nothing about. I also have a road bike which again, i hardly use or know about. I dont have much money to buy a bike yet, i am selling my other bikes to gain funds. I dont know what they are worth so may need some help there (if a certain mod would of held fire maybe he would realise this!)
I dont know which sort of bike to get. Also whats the difference between an XC and a trails bike? what sort of gear would i need ( please dont put obvious things like helmet or gloves, i mean things a beginner wouldnt think of).
Anyway i await your replies with excitment.
Thanks guys
Stig
