]Will be riding across Exmoor & Brendon Hills in a week or so & are looking for refuelling stops on the way.
Our route is from Ilfracombe to Bridgewater on the B3358, B3223, & B3224 via Challacombe, Simondsbath, Edgecott, Wheddon Cross, Elworthy, etc.
Any local knowledge on cafe/food stops would be greatly appreciated.
Any suggestions on route from Elworthy to Bridgewater would be helpful - on the map it looks a bit convoluted??

There was a good cafe in Exford last time I was there (2 years ago)
From Elworthy, the simple route is the B3224 to Bishops Lydeard, then via Cothelstone, Park End, Timbercombe and Enmore. There's a cafe at the junction just before Timbercombe, but at that point you'd probably just continue down to Bridgwater.0 -
Thanks for advice Andrew, couldn't really fancy cycling that distance without a cafe stop!0

Many thanks hosiescott, at least we are not going to "hit the wall" en route. Much prefer cafes to pubs on cycling trips, tend to find that pubs don't have enough of tha carbo stuff ie cake, cake & more cake!!!!!!!0
