If you mean Cannock Chase, then yes, it's worth the drive at least once - the Monkey trail having vastly improved the offering in the area.

    Worth the drive - yes.

Depending on fitness. Do both the monkey trail and follow the dog. Around 15miles approx

Cafe on site and Swinnerton cycle shop there too. £3 to park so bring change.

It's an hour and half away from me and we're heading over on sunday.

Avoid Birches Valley this weekend or go early - the car park is closed from 3:30pm onwards on Fri & Sat because of the concerts.

Plenty of alternative parking up at Marquis Drive, Rifle Range Corner etc.
  • The two trails mentioned wouldnt take up two days worth of riding though.

You'd manage 3/4 laps a day before getting bored with it. Need someone to show you the surrounding areas as there is some cracking singletrack routes.
Dont forget there is also the Stile Cop downhill area. Not sure on your type of riding but it adds a little bit of spice if you swing that way.
    4 wheels bad
    2 wheels good
    1 wheel for fun
