Anton du Beke and Carol Vorderman have been announced winners of this year's "Rear of the Year".

Clearly the winners should have been me* and Pippa Middleton.

(* I know that I should have been the winner of the male award due to the huge number of people expressing such a strong desire to see the back of me)

    Pippa +++++++++++++
  • I think she probably did win it, but told them to get stuffed as it is more than a little bit vulgar.

    that is what I said when I won it 2 years ago.

    More vulgar than being photographed topless I presume?

    Who votes for this stuff?! I'm sorry, but as nice a rear as it is, I'm sure there're nicer (and less wrinkled) rears than Carol Vorderman's!

    I really don't get all the fuss about Pippa bum.

    She has an ironing board backside, straight up and straight down.

    The first is OK, the second clearly NSFW!

    I do want to click those links but I'm leaning towards agreeing with the above.

    OK, Kate is fitter (more attractive for you grumble bums) than Pippa in every single photo except THAT moment where she was standing in her bridesmaids dress waiting for her sister. It was very similar to Liz Hurley's moment (OMG Liz Hurley) in THAT dress.

    She did look great from the rear holding Kate's (wedding dress) train. There was the slightest hint of cheek, not enough to win rear of the year but enough to leave everything to the imagination, which is probably why she won it.

    I don't know what is on it, but I can confirm that when I clicked on the second link the screen flashed, alarm bells sounded and the Internet Police came crashing through the door. :oops:

    Not sure who votes but I heard they had employed a celebrity mathmatician to tally up the votes :wink:

    'Rear' really is a bit inadequate. I prefer 'budunkadunk' or 'bumpa'.

    If I had an ironing board like that I wouldn't have a cupboard full of wrinkled shirts. Just saying.

    I 'met' (well waited at the same carousel for luggage) Liz at Heathrow one morning, and can confirm that even after a Transatlantic overnighter she is far hotter (skin tight jeans and figure hugging blouse) in the flesh than in any photo.....
