Scottish borders
Are there any decent routes in the Scottish Borders, preferably more to the western side? Not trail centres.
Or do I need to be going much further north to find good non trail centre routes in Scotland?

Any reason you're avoiding trail centres? There's some really grreat stuff to ride there.0

I've done them already and I much prefer riding "natural" trails to the man made trail centres. Can't beat a big scary rocky descent!Current Bikes:

Grab an Os map, and head out. You can ride virtually anywhere you want in Scotland.0 -
I'm kind of already at the point. Don't seem to get as much enjoyment out of riding at trail centres any more, not really in to jumping and generally prefer a bit more of a challenge. They are a bit sterile. I do go now and then if other people I'm riding with want to go though.Current Bikes:

Sanquhar and follow the Southern Upland Way
