^ definite wind-up, I haven't watched my video yet, but Fignon's got a 50-second lead, there's no way Lemond can pull that much back off him in such a short time trial0 -
I've just got into pro cycling and have randomly started my viewing at the 99 Tour.....any idea how that one turned out? I'm hoping for a happy ending :P0

Nah, he won't win anything. Flash in the pan.
At least he is clean though...0 -
I've got this inkling that Steven Roche is going to disregard team orders and convention in the 1987 Giro."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

It'll never work. What's to stop them all jumping on a train to the finish? Stupid idea if you ask me.0 -

But have you seen the route? It's all flat. No mountains at all. I'll prefer the Giro when someone decides to invent it.Twitter: @RichN950 -

I've heard most of the roads will be either gravel or cobbles.
Is it safe and fair on the GC riders?0 -
That bicycling malarky is just balderdash and hogwash. Now this, however is an invention that is bound to catch on:

There's another type of road? :shock:0 -
I have heard a rumour that someone is working to link all the computers in the world together like a web. Then you will be able to link up friends and tell them about how you've just been to the shops or made your tea. There will even be places for people who share a common interest to post their ill informed opinions like facts and belittle others that don't agree with them.
Sounds like a waste of time and effort to me.0 -

It's strange that the Sybian smartphones weren't a bit more popular with the ladies.0 -
Heh, nah not really. Nokia had a huge chunk of the market before Apple ate their lunch.0

Well Nokia were the first phones to introduce a vibrate feature, so we're probably all referring to the same thing.0

Just heard that someone Austrian by the name of Adolf Hitler has been elected leader of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei in Germany. They're a pretty minor party, so I doubt he'll ever amount to much...The most painful climb in Northern Ireland http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs200.snc1/6776_124247198694_548863694_2335754_8016178_n.jpg0
