rear derailleur issues

Hi,

Last few rides i have noticed that when on highest gear and select to move up one gear the bike will take an age to change the gear and sometimes i have to move up another gear to then move down to get the original gear i wanted. Does this sound like the derailleur needs adjusting, and if so is this easy to do.

Possibly, but I would strip off you cables and clean them before readjusting.
