Hey guys,

Apologies if this has been covered before I had a search but couldn't find anything...

My mate has just bought a Specialized Cross Trail sport disc
http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/ebwPNLq ... tVersion=1

We were looking at test fitting my sks chromoplastic mudguards on his so he could order a set online knowing they'd fit ok...
The front wouldn't fit due to the fork not having suitable mounting points.
The rear looked like it'd work fine (assuming it fit over the disc brake) but we didn't try it.

Anyway, question... Does any body know any of that style mudguards that'd fit the bike in question?

Cheers,

TL:DR I need to find some mudguards to fit the bike in the link. please help

These should fit. The Suntour forks normally have a screw hole at the back of the central bridge. You can attach the front one there, that's what I've done.

The come in a selection of widths.

The screw they supplied was the wrong size for my fork but I have loads of spares. Do NOT overtighten it, it's only going into soft metal. Surprisingly mine stays on really well.

I only used the front one so have a spare rear if anybody wants it, fiver inc. shipping. PM me.

I'm amazed at the idiocy of
    1. making an urban utility suspension fork that can take bolt-on mudguards.
    and
    2. Mudguard manufacturers not selling sets of rear bolt-on/front trekking style for these stupid forks.
Does anyone make such a set, Ive looked everywhere for friends with these std hybrid style bikes.
