    golden shower fetishist?

My boss has a bunged up ear which he cannot sort out. As all the pharmacist remedies involve urea in one form or another, I suggested getting his wife to p*ss on his head.

He didn't think this was funny.

So you're doing it instead? Surely you should p1ss in his ear. If that's the case, why are you the one getting soaked. Or have I missed something?

I wonder if this is because she craped in his ear the other time and caused this blockage?

I was talking about how it's going to utterly tip it down on the way home tonight. I didn't start the golden shower bit - merely added an anecdote about my deaf boss :P

    http://www.raintoday.co.uk/

awesome website showing latest rain satelite so you can see where the rain is going to hit within the next hour or so...

(so central london should be clear by 5...perfect!)

+1 I use this anytime there's a cloud in the sky - really useful for finding gaps in the water!

Gawd - it's REALLY accurate for here.

Watching the pulse of heavy rain on the site right as it hit here and it's gone past - leaving a crumpled but dry sky behind.

and the wind appears to have shifted to the North. :D

I use this, which I think is originally from the dutch Metoffice:

    http://www.meteox.co.uk/h.aspx?r=&jaar=-3&soort=loop1uur

Pretty similar, but covers a wider area, and it still has the google maps option as well as the cloud satellite pictures

  • Rain? Wimps! Yesterday we had a virtual monsoon of rainfall, followed immediately by hailstones the size of ball bearings. In fact, they were so solid I considered servicing my wheels with them!

    Well - that's uncanny.

It got to 5:30 here and the skies opened - very briefly. Just enough time for me to go diving for my event jacket put it on, zip it up... and swear.

I went for a last minute ride to Southend on sunday. The weather looked OK when I was planning it, a few spits of rain when I was leaving and for the first hour or so then the heavens opened and the temperature nose-dived.
I decided a bit too late that I should turn back as I hadn't reached the point of no return, so I got totally soaked when only wearing lycra shorts and SS lycra jersey. I was cold, but as long as I kept the levels of awesome high, I was warm enough.

Then I got a visit from the fairy.

I stopped at a bus shelter to change the innertube (getting very strange and pitying looks from the soon-to-be bus passengers. I got very cold, very quickly and began shivering.
Once back on the bike I was colder then I have ever been on a bike. My teeth were chattering so much I thought I may chip them (exageration).
One hour of giving it the beans on the way home didn't warm me up much so I was delighted to jump in a nice warm bath.

Normally I love riding in the rain, but sunday was a step too far!

  • Got soaked for 8 miles on the way into work and about the same on the way home tonight, still great fun though and even got involved in a spot of SCR on the way in. :D

That wouldn't have worked. I would have needed something more like this.

After two days of getting soaked getting in to work, I was pleased today to manage it without spring/autumn visting. 8)

That said I would like to know who has stolen the pleasent gentle breeze I should be experiencing each evening and replaced it with 15 - 20mph headwinds each night! :? GRRRRRRR!!!!
