Hello,

Rode at Coed Y Brenin last month and rode Tawr, MBR and Cyflym Coch and which were really great. I'm thinking on a trip back to Wales next month but i don't know where to go.

I go with my brother who lives in Loughborough and i live near Colchester so i usually go to his first to get him and then go from there. So the place would have to be mid to north Wales and i'm looking for somewhere that is similar to Coed Y Brenin challenge wise. I have had a look on the MB Wales website and Betws-Y- Coed, Nant yr Arian and Coed Llandegla all look good but which one would you go to?

Thanks :D
Bikes are OK, I guess... :-)

    Take your Pick

I really like Afan, Whites Level and The Wall, or the Combined W2 (them both)

i wouldn't bother with betws-y-coed, it's a great town full of outdoor types but there's not loads of riding..the marin is a bit dull but penmachno is supposed to be really good.

i rode nant yr arian earlier this week and it was really good, you could also maybe join it up with machynlleth as it's not too far away?

Penmachno is great its a XC trail nothing too technical but long enough to make it an all day ride if you stop and enjoy the scenery.

How about Machynlleth lots of rides out of the town its different to most trail centres as its not a proper trail centre its a town surrounded by trails that have sort of grown out of the landscape not been built by a man and a digger.
