Changing tyres, tubes too?

Hiya

I'm going to change (upgrade) my tyres after 800 miles on a new bike - should I change my tubes at the same time? Do tubes lose their puncture resistance over time?

    Tubes don't have any puncture resistance - that's all done by the tyre. Inner tubes can last for decades.
