New "Friendly" Club in Haverhill, Suffolk, UK

Hi all
As one or two of you may have noticed (or not) following on from several recent "Club" topics and my own experiences with local clubs, I am attempting to get a new local club up & running in Haverhill.
Club is open to all and primary focus will be on building distance rides, fitness & road leisure riding, firmly aiming for those local cyclists that want a friendly group to ride with, without being racing focused. I'm hoping this will be a fresh approach to club cycling and hope to compliment other local clubs rather than compete.
So far I am building a relationship with Haverhill's local LBS, and am in discussion with the local paper re an editorial, just need to spread the word and build up a membership.

I have a work colleague who lives near Haverhill and is a keen cyclist. I'll let him know.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S

Thanks Fella, I'd really love to get this thing off the ground, even if the result is simply a social network of half a dozen people who take group rides several times a year I'd consider it a success
(the local racing club has been established 40 years and only has 25 members, some of which don't actually ride) so not expecting it to be huge
