Ride to the horns

I've just entered "ride to the horns" on the 3rd of July (93m route) anyone done this before and if so what did you think? I'm in St Albans so thought I'd give this relatively local event a go.

    I did it a few years back. Not a bad ride at all. That year Mark Webber did it as well and was at his pub for a bear afterwards, which was nice. No idea if he's going to be doing it this year.

    I did it last year, and really enjoyed it. Its one of the harder sportives i've done if you take the longer route. Theres a lot of short sharp climbs especially latter half, with a few around the 15-20% mark!

    I also rode it last year,good event ,quite a few people turned left at dagnall,instead of straight on and up to the downs,so keep your eyes peeled :shock:
