Anyone done this?

I've missed it for this year (saw some adverts last week) as I'm nowhere near good enough for 100 miles of the kind of hills thrown into this route.

I've done 100K enough times to want to go further but 100+ miles of some of the hardest hills in the Peaks... love to. Next year.

Not that I'd fancy giving it a go.

I did it last year. It's a really good route, not many entrants though, which you might see as good or bad. There was no timing last year so if you're into your leaderboards then you're out of luck.

The mid-ride feed up was the best spread I've ever seen at a sportive.

I don't know if I'm going to be fit enough to have another go at it this year; Frogatt Hill pretty much finished me off. I've never felt so tired at the end of a sportive (frame of reference would include the Magnificat and Circuit of the Cotswolds).

EDIT: Why don't you have a go at the 70 mile route if you're worried that the full distance is beyond you?
