Vale of Glamorgan to anglesea
Hi guys, I'm looking to do a sponsored bike ride from barry to anglesey for charity.
I'm 15 and I only go for daily rides, and this will be new for me.
I was looking to see if there would be any cycle routes I could use. I am aware of the one that takes you to Brecon but that's it.
Also, what equipment will I need, I've got the basic stuff like tents and a cooker, but what things would I need for my bike.
I'd appreciate your help guys
Alex

There are Sustrans routesthat will cover your journey. Your bike will need a rack and panniers for your kit. The trick to packing is to lay out all you think you need to take, half it and then get rid of any excess. If you are going to camp you need to plan your packing carefully as although Barry to Holyhead is around 200 miles it will be reasonably hilly a every unnecessary kg will cost you. You will find a lot of good information on touring on the CTC website as well as here.Neil
