You may have a good beating in you but you don't have two trees... You'd only need a couple of shrubs in this case anywayFormally known as Coatbridgeguy0 -

Is that all? A good start though... but you have some catching up to do
All for play.. especially the new iMac27: 16GB, Core i7, 320GB SSD Boot, 2TB HDD and 1GB ATI GFX.
MacMini DualCore Intel 1,86GHz, 2GB RAM and recently upgraded to 320GB Seagate Momentus Hybrid (SSD/rotating) disk
MacBook Pro, 2.4GHz Core2, 4GB, 320GB HDD
And too many iMac G4/G5/G6 Power PC based machines to fit into the study.. so they're all in the spare room awaiting a trip to the recycle centre
The work machine is that horrible little Dell laptop in the right
On the right of the desk, on the floor is the "gaming rig" my Dual QuadCore Xeon box..
2 x Xeon QuadCore 3Ghz, 32GB RAM, 6 Disk Hot Swap Bay, 1GB ATI 3850. Intel on board audio, on board dual Gigabit Ethernet with TOE

Thewaylander, I know you are an avid Mac hater, every time something Mac comes up you either reply with utter BS or make derogatory remarks about all things Apple.
So, I thank you for not getting your oar in on a product set that your past Posts have shown you know very little about..0 -
Raymond, I put a fun little comment in the spirit of the thread so far and you jump down my throat, I have exactly the same feeling about what you think but i'm polite enough to keep it to myself as it's a personal opinion.
So why don't you go away and learn some half decent manners internet warrior.0 -
Hehe,
Apologies that I bit first then, but past experiences have shown our opinions differ immensely on the produce of Cupertino..
An Internet warrior I most certainly am not... impolite I often am, but that's just me.. I've apologised.. so IMO job done...0 -

How are you finding the iMac?
I would consider getting one if my mini wasn't so awesome
My MBP is getting on a bit now though, been lusting after an air for work purposes but they're so damn expensive!0 -
The iMac rocks, very quick and overall a lovely bit of kit indeed. It's big, I give it that, but it's also nice and silent for a Core i7 system
It's greatest attribute has to be the monitor quality, it's outstanding.
I'm going to be Boot Camping Windoze 7 Ultimate 64 on it soon, downloaded the ISO and keys from MSDN, so it's just a case of being bothered, but I need to do it to get the best out of the iMac
My MacBook Pro 13 is now 12 months old and will soon be offski to EBay or ScrumpyMacs for sale as I have my eye on the Core i5 version, the Core processor will be better for VMware Fusion.0 -

Well I am a mac owner as well, saved my pennies and finally took the plunge on a 15" i7 and its lovely =] , I would never go back to PC unless it was for gaming reasons and I've got my consoles for that .GT Zaskar mmmmm yummy!0

I use a Mac at work and I love it. I did not have to buy it myself.
I don't understand why people have been so completely blinded by the (extremely good) marketing of Apple devices. Apple have been very clever in getting people to say iPod when they mean mp3 player for example.
Buying a computer for home I will look at bang for buck. I can't imagine I am ever going to spend the 50% extra cash required for the Mac that does the same job as the pc at the lower cost.
I hate iTunes with a passion.
I hate the iPhone because it won't let my wife send me stuff via Bluetooth unless I buy an iPhone as well.
I think that is all. I still can't decide if I would buy a mac for home if money wasn't an issue, which it always invariably is.0 -

But how much stuff do you want to bluetooth to each other? I used to hate the idea, but now it just doesn't bother me as i'll mms/email/whatsapp it.
Mainly photos of the kids and the image quality is always reduced by the other means of transfer (well via mms or email anyway). It's just a niggle, but it get's to me.0 -

Whats scrumpymacs?!
yea I had W7U on my MBP (which is about 5 years old now) but I never used windows so deleted it.
The Mini does what I need for play, not got a huge Flat so i can't have another standalone monitor screen. Got my mini in my HD tv though so its brilliant for moooovies etc0
