im in the market for a new frame and was considering an originally considering a heckler +rp23 but my local stockist is trying his hardest to put me off buying one saying they are dated and crap and is trying to sell me a five instead, thing is im going to be paying £400 more for something very similar. or is the five that much better. any suggestions of other frames in the price range would be good too

Then he is obvioulsy an knob....how long has the single pivot orange been about as well.....they have both been around for a good while and both sell by the bucket load so they must be doing something right....it's your hard earned cash at the end of the day so buy what you like..would also look at the Mondraker Foxy/Transition Covert/Tomac Synper and perhaps an Intense..0 -
HAHA! Telling you not to buy an outdated bike then pointing you at a 5, classic.
They are both very similar in function and capability but the Santa Cruz is far, far, FAR better looking and cheaper.0 -
