Enjoyed that, was expecting it to be far more wind and rain swept on the top though.

Anybody else getting issues playing freecaster videos since the live stream? Access to mp4 denied or similar.

No, just the usual stuttering issues, and major headaches getting onto it to begin with.

Fort William WC report, men finals : Gee takes 4th to an incredible race scenario. He was first at all split times, so we're looking for some info to know what happened.
What if your dreams and fears existed in the same place? What if to get to heaven, you had to brave hell? What if everything you've ever wanted cost you everything you've ever achieved? Would you still go there?

he was looking critically at his bike at the bottom, particularly the back wheel - although it did have a whiff of "it must be the bike, was nt my fault" about it ;)

Just looked at the fantasy Dirt league thing. It's a load of bollocks! Looking how I did last time it has given me zero points for a rider that finished 14th

The timing tech issues are deliberate, they do it to wind up Rob Warner's commentary.

Rob Warner was 'kin hilarious  For me Cedric Gracia was the best. What a legend! No hander at the road gap, small tailwhip next, a one hander and then a monster tailwhip to finish. He really styled it up 8)

Gracia is a proper legend. He always seems to manage to finish strongly while just having this sense of dlcking about and having a laugh.

it was mad though, amazed he didn't case it properly. If he didn't mess up on the top section then he would have won imo

me too and the loads of other ones  best commentator ever!
  • Rob Warner is class, he's like freecasters version of chris kamara. I was watching the SA downhill and he did an interview with a guy from a company, can't remember which one, but it was about twenty minutes of him asking questions then a long quiet pause, you could hear slight jabber coming over robs mic from the interviewee but he ( or a techy?) had forgot to put the mic on, was funny at the end when he realised, he said summat like, "thanks for that, although no one could hear cause your mic wasn't turned on" and laughed. Brilliant.

Already lookin forward to the next lot. Someones gonna have to edit all his quality analogys together for you tube, would be mint.

Had to watch the re run on eurosport as I was out on the bike earlier, so missed out on what seems like some classic Rob Warner commentary :( The guy is an absolute legend!

Good race though, I would like to know how Gwin lost about 8 seconds from the mid split though

    not quite a tailwhip :P

just a whip. a tailwhip is bascially when you 360 the back end

In case anyone is wondering, Gee tweeted earlier saying he only had 6 spokes in the back wheel....

Ah yeah that old chestnut. Blame the French!! ;)

(making the massive unsubstantiated assumption he was on Mavic wheels...)

More likely he'd LOST 6 spokes, someone would have noticed that, and I'm doubtful whether it's even possible for a wheel to stay in place with only 6 spokes.

    Yup - 6 spokes:

"Well that sucked, not into riding a rear wheel with only 6spokes in it... Stoked I made it to the finish tho."

    hmm.
    my thoughts exactly.

has to be a typo, maybe he was trying to say 26 or 16 spokes.

i just had a look at the replay and he is defenintly missing spokes but not that many at all

Its his own Fault, he probably had them from superstar, but then mangled them, and had someone sort them out which made them worse, but then still ride on them and mash them up some more. Now he's bitter because superstar claim that somehow he's in the wrong.

Plus the 6 inch screws in his tyres kept catching on his fork brace

who ar we talking about again...................?

    Oh Gee
