Cycling Video

Hi, I have recently created a couple of videos of me and my friend out cycling that I thought I would share here: http://youtu.be/XNBfk12cfHc and http://youtu.be/4NlupZBKKpo
These videos were shot on a Kodak Zx1 fixed to a secure mount on my bike.
It is most probable that if you have bothered to read this far through my post, you will have watched the videos and have noticed how shaky they are, in my opinion they are best watched at the lower resolution of 360p but I was wondering if anyone had tried anything similar and had any advice on how to create smoother, more stabilized videos, or if anyone had any constructive criticism in general.
Thanks, Charlie.

There are editing softwares out there that have image stabilisation. Sony Vegas is one of them but there are bound to be more. They pretty much force the shaky frames into line with the rest.0

80kmh? :?0

I'm going to also have to say that most likely wasn't 80 kmh going down that descent. I've gone down much longer and steeper descents at 60kmh, and on video it looks alot faster than that.
Still nice videos to watch though!0 -
Great, I love watching other peeps vids. nothing wrong with the shaky cam. lovely roads, looked a really nice ride.
I think you'll a;ways get camera shake if the cams attached to the bike. Have a look at HomerJ's vids in his link in the 'driveby shooting' thread, the pics are really clear. The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -
80kmh was only the max speed on the descent, the majority of it is done at about 55kmh but there is a very steep section after the road sign saying that it is 15%. That is the section where I managed to reach 80km/h, and my friend that overtakes at the bottom got up to 83kmh. Sorry for any misunderstanding.0
