Band of the day: Levellers

This evening, I'm at my parents' house in order to get some peace and quiet in which to revise. I have already cracked the conversion from cartesian coordinates to cylindrical and spherical polar coordinates, and now need to teach myself to perform vector calculus on the feckers. Later, if there's time, I'll start on Fourier series and Fourier transforms.

My life is such fun...

Indeed. Fourier analysis isn't introduced before university in any A-level syllabus I'm aware of.

I did fourier transforms - I thought they were neat - you can use them in some of these complicated boundary conditions in solving the wave equation.

I've used FFT to analyse audio, a loooong time ago (these days I just use off the shelf software!), which was around A-level time, but maybe it was something I did in my spare time then.
Do I remember anything useful? hell no!
