best bike for under £500

hello
been looking for a road bike for under £500 like the look of boardman bikes, what they like?
any one recommend and decent bikes for under £500

    Shame you're looking now as I will have my Specialized Secteur up for sale in August for £300. It's in excellent condition as well - and will be complete with upgrade 105 brakes, shimano R540 pedals (inc size 9 shoes with cleats), computer and bottle cages.

    If you shop around you might be able to get last years model from aknown brand like trek, specialized etc but it might be hard to get your size

    I been using last years btwin since, last year! 21 miles a day. It's a fine bike for the dough - 280quid then, all alloy. I think the new one at 300 has carbon forks. I average 13/14mph thru London nay bother.

    Although iv been longing to build my own from scratch for a while now
