carbon steerers

Just brought some reba world cups with carbon steerer. Do these need a special stem? Ive got the correct expander and have been told to fit at least 1 spacer above and 1 below. [/u]

    nothing special needed. read the manual. IIRC it gives a max height if spacers that can be used.

    They don't like wedge stems apparently.

    I Echo the above comments.

    Some say avoid 'wedge' stem systems, but you should be fine with a conventional bolt-type stem.

    My forks have a maximum of 40mm spacer limit. Some say 30mm...
